Who we are

Lat-Am Enterprise & Business Management is built on more than two decades of hands-on family business experience across Europe, the UK, the Caribbean, and now Latin America. We help European entrepreneurs and families move their companies, assets, and real projects into Latin America in a structured, legal, and practical way.

A family of builders and operators

Since 2000, our family has started, operated, and scaled companies in consumer goods, construction, import–export, and luxury interior design. Each new company was built to solve a real-world need – and that experience is now the foundation of Lat-Am EM&BM.

  • In 2000, we opened our first company in Brașov, Romania – Zamfir Inter 2000 SRL – focused on trading fast-moving consumer goods and processed food, mainly importing from Hungary and Poland.

  • In 2005, we founded Metart SRL in Galați, Romania (with a branch in Constanța), delivering civil and residential construction projects.

  • In 2012, we co-founded Global Identity SRL in the Dominican Republic, together with a local partner and my son, Sebastian Zamfir, focusing on import–export of construction equipment and materials, plus local consumer goods trade.

  • In 2018, we established Zamfir LTD in London, UK, a civil and residential construction company.

  • In 2023, we launched M&D Luxury Interior Design in London, together with my daughter, Bianka Maria Zamfir, importing, selling, and installing high-end interior design materials and luxury finishes.

  • In 2025, we created Lat-Am Enterprise & Business Management LLC in Dover, Delaware (US), to help European entrepreneurs and families relocate their companies and assets and build real projects in Latin America.

Why we created Lat-Am EM&BM ?

Why Latin America, and why now

After years of working in Romania, the UK, and the Caribbean, we saw that many European entrepreneurs wanted to diversify into Latin America but didn’t know where to start, who to trust, or how to structure their projects. At the same time, Europe is moving towards mandatory digital identities (eID) and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), developments that raise serious questions about financial privacy, capital controls, and long-term personal freedom for business owners and families. In response, we decided not only to advise on Latin American options, but to be present there ourselves – including through a dedicated branch in Ecuador, an emerging hub with attractive residency options, strategic location, and growing business opportunities. Lat-Am EM&BM exists to close this gap, combining our family’s practical business background with local partners in each country, so you can move from idea to a functioning company or project on the ground, with greater geographical and regulatory diversification.

Local collaborators in every destination

You’re not just getting one contact in one country. In each destination where we operate, we work with a curated network of specialist partners, so you are never alone on the ground. For every country listed on our website, we maintain at least five trusted partners across three key areas:
  • Legal – law firms focused on immigration, visas, residency, and company formation.

  • Tax & Compliance – certified accountants and compliance advisors to align your structure with local and international rules.

  • Project Partners – engineers, factory and equipment suppliers, agricultural and mushroom-production experts, and local implementation teams.

We currently work with vetted teams in Argentina, Costa Rica, Chile, Colombia, El Salvador, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, and Uruguay, so your relocation and projects are supported locally from day one.

What this means for your project

Working with a family-owned firm and a local partner network gives you:

  • Long-term perspective – we build projects we would be comfortable putting our own family name on.

  • Practical experience – we’ve dealt with construction sites, imports, factories, and real customers, not just spreadsheets and theory.

  • Cross-border know-how – we understand the differences between Europe, the UK, the Caribbean, and Latin America, and help you bridge them safely.

  • Local execution – trusted lawyers, accountants, and project partners in each country, so you don’t have to guess who to trust.

  • Funding readiness & investor access – we help you structure your business so it becomes investable, prepare clear materials for investors and lenders, and connect you with suitable equity and debt partners in Latin America and internationally.
